Finding the spots you cannot see
Dried urine is often invisible on patterned or mid-tone carpet. We look for the tell-tale areas, such as along walls, behind doors and near where pets sleep, and treat every affected patch rather than only the ones you can spot.
Treatment first, then the clean
Urine needs a product made to break it down, and that product needs time to work. We apply it, let it sit, then rinse and extract as part of the full carpet clean. Using heat on untreated urine can set the stain, which is why we treat before steam.
When the underlay is the problem
If a spot has been used again and again, the underlay below may be soaked through. Cleaning from the top can improve it a lot, but sometimes the only full fix is replacing that piece of underlay. Old urine can also bleach the colour out of the fibres for good.
We tell you what we find before we start, so you can decide what is worth doing.
Indoor pets on acreage
Dogs that roam a property in Cashmere, Samford Valley or Draper bring in mud, grass and that outdoor dog smell. Their beds, couches and favourite rugs often need as much attention as the carpet. Add those to your quote and we can do them together.
