Why we keep it dry
Mattress foam and springs hold moisture and take a long time to dry out. That is why we never flood a mattress. We vacuum it thoroughly, treat the marks and clean the cover with a low-moisture method.
- Vacuum the top, edges and seams
- Spot treat marks and accident areas
- Low-moisture clean of the cover fabric
- Leave it bare and aired to finish drying
Kids, bunks and toddler beds
Family homes around Eatons Hill and Warner often have a few kids beds, sometimes bunks in a shared room. We can work through them in one visit. Let us know about any beds with repeated accidents, as those can take more treatment time.
What may not come out
Surface marks usually improve. Old yellowing from sweat and accidents that soaked into the foam are harder, and some staining or smell may stay. A waterproof protector after the clean is the easiest way to keep the mattress in good shape.
